Repetition is how children learn. When children ask to do a certain activities and movement over and over again, the task becomes easier and they learn to master the skill.
The children asked to paint with homemade stamps again. This time we tried something new, we dipped string into some liquid watercolor and made “curly prints”.
To support the children's new discovery, we will be printing with different strings and ropes on Monday.
Repetition supports learning!

We love to dip different things in paint… this time we used Styrofoam noodles.
Cut up an assortment of noodles.
Poke a toothpick into the noodle, this will be the handle.
Squirt Acrylic paints on a paper plate. Please do not mix the paints.
Dip noodles in Acrylic paints.
Poke painted noodle on a Styrofoam block and drip dry.
Have fun and get creative, there is no wrong or right way to dip noodles.
